Working on this project entailed an adventure. The adventure of experiencing and learning more about a place that is filled with an enormous amount of history and to this day holds the beauty of Romanesque inspired architecture. Founded by Abbot Francis Pfanner and built in the 1800’s, the Monastery certainly creates the aura which draws one back into time of the 1800’s.
Having the greatest opportunity to work at the oldest Southern African Catholic Printing Press has made me realise that is important to love what you do and without even realising it ignites a spark, its the spark of making a difference within the community which shines out into the world.
